A user reported this problem a year ago, but then it seemed to go away with Natty alpha 2:

bug #700678

The upstream ticket was http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/3084 .

Hi,

this can be reproduce with Any Camera/SDCARD device on 12.04.

I checked #697353 and it's pretty different and seemed to be related to the Camera he had as he could not list his photo at second run.

So I repeat: my bug only happen on the FIRST RUN.

Please confirm that you are not able to reproduce the problem.

Aha, yes, I can reproduce this now. Thanks for the explanation.

I've filed a ticket upstream at http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4997 . We should definitely fix this for the next Shotwell release.
