Bug Description

Enable SSL by default for irc.ubuntu.com / freenode (and other SSL-enhanced networks) to ensure privacy and integrity.

I think that irc.ubuntu.com shouldn't be used at all and it's CNAME for chat.freenode.net and as freenode's SSL certificates are for *.freenode.net and not irc.ubuntu.com which would cause errors with certificate being invalid.
