That's not true, see http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/component-mismatches.svg

It needs jquery-goodies, which needs javascript-common, which needs wwwconfig-common.

Note that http://launchpadlibrarian.net/102715375/python-coverage_3.4-1build1_3.4-1build2.diff.gz will not last and be overwritten by the next Debian autosync. The package was modified (without any bug reference, I might add..) without changing the version number to an Ubuntu one.

This bug was fixed in the package python-coverage - 3.4-1ubuntu1

---------------
python-coverage (3.4-1ubuntu1) precise; urgency=low

  * Bump version number, introducing Ubuntu delta from last upload
which satisfied requirements for python-coverage MIR of dropping
    libjs-jquery to Suggests. LP: #981101

With Davey's additional upload, acking to main. I would add a bonus point if the server team can be subscribed to the package bugs :)
