Bug Description
When running the 'Gnome Classic' mode, applets can be added to the panel like in Gnome 2, but it has become signifcantly harder and requires alt+right click (ctrl+right click?) now - and does not work all the time.
So this is actually two bugs, one that alt+click doesn't always work, but more importantly that it's required to begin with.
Many users won't know that it's still possible to add applets in the 'Gnome Classic' session.

Agree that it should be added a popup to the right-click event on taskbar, to let users know about the new design feature
