Bug Description

on kubuntu amd64+mac final desktop image for 12.04 jibel reported a crash in manual partitioning when creating a new partition table

I can not recreate it on amd64 desktop image

Also when I resized a partition, making it a tiny bit smaller which had plenty of space available (it was an ext4 partition with a lot of Data on it) it crashed, and the partition and data was lost.
