Using the WebDeveloper appliance from VMware ( http://
Click on Update Manager
Where the 'new distro available' option is , click on Upgrade
During the 'downloading and installing the updates' phase, the following two errors occur:

Can't install 'ubuntu-desktop'
It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a bug.

Could not calculate the upgrade
A unresolvable problem occured while calculating the upgrade. Please report this as a bug.
