The Wasp Virtual Machine provides an efficient, compact Lisp environment for the implementation of network applications.

The Wasp Virtual Machine is a fork of the Mosquito Virtual Machine (MOSVM), with an emphasis on improving the maturity and community accessibility. Wasp Lisp offers a middle way between the elegance of Lisp and the pragmatism of other, more common dynamic languages.

Like MOSVM, WASPVM is provided under the Lesser GPL.
