  • PS: in general I wouldn't unconditionally trust that QEMU emulating CPU X definitely does not implement any instructions that CPU X doesn't have -- no real world code will notice, and we don't have any mechanism to automatically verify that we didn't accidentally forget to conditionalize an instruction on an architecture feature.

  • Multiple slow query log fixes and testsuite improvements. The MP corresponds to the 5.6 feature port in progress, that is, all these fixes have been backported from the 5.6 work. The MP is big but should be relatively easy to review. The updated testcases, notably percona_mysqldumpslow, still are unstable in Jenkins sometimes (but overall they fail much less now). I am putting this out anyway ...
  • The packaging changes are OK. The rest of the changes are a merge from Percona-Server 5.5.30 and codership-mysql that have been tested and released.

  • The current couchdb-bin package in oneiric contains the contents of libjs-jquery-form verbatim (i.e. jquery.form.js), albeit a version from Nov 2009; if it's in oneiric it makes more sense to point to a single updated copy in a package in the repos then to have two copies (one in couchdb and one in libjs-jquery-form).

  • This is one way to implement/fix "fstab does not honor /proc mount options". The actual problem is: mount-points are remounted, only if currently mounted "ro" and "ro was not requested. Implementation is to convert current/requested mount options from character array, to NihHash and then compare the two sets of mount options. I don't like this approach as it is buggy in many subtle ways ...
