graphical interface, the video console goes dark. ctrl-alt-F1 does not switch to a
textmode console. (a getty is listening on /dev/tty1) i can ssh into the machine, but
when i try to chvt 1 to get to the first virtual terminal, chvt hangs.

more than 3GB RAM and with Memory Remapping Enabled .... 4) I tried to install
