  • Here is some some observations: - Disabling xinerama get rid of the crash. - Interesting thing is that I installed "qgit" instead and it crashes the whole X also. - I don't think git itself can crash X - probably not a bug in tcl/tk or qt - looks like a bug in xorg which crashes on certain drawing primitive used by both gitk and qgit.
