This is a significant architectural shift for Bombardier. We are developing a core RESTful web service which will continue to be accessed by a command-line client. The overall look and feel of the application will be similar, but this core service will significantly increase the scalability, and security of the application while providing for numerous additional features to be built on top of the platform.

SSH-driven architecture, with the server making connections to the clients and telling them what to do, rather than the clients making HTTPS connections to the server to query for instructions. Introduction of the 'bomsh' command. Also first introduction of a Linux-based client.
This was the first public release of the Bombardier system. Its code was cleaned up significantly, but this was largely untested.
