Bug Description

It seems that could depend on installing the metapackage ubuntu-desktop above plain Kubuntu installation.
Experienced the same problem on my notebook.
On a fresh Ubuntu installation no problem with changing theme.

Does it always crash?
Do you have the package gtk2-engines-gtk-qt installed? Could you remove it and rename/remove all files in your home directory that start with .gtkrc? Does this stop the theme manager from crashing?

What version of ubuntu and control-center do you use?
