Usplash bails to console before starting X/kdm

Bug Description

After a clean install of Kubuntu Feisty beta, I've noticed that the start-up Usplash now quits to console right before X (and kdm) start. The splash will fill up the meter almost to full, and when it is supposed to reach the end of the meter, some console text and the prompt to login from a console pops up before X starts. Changing the usplash artwork does not fix this problem.

Can you confirm if this bug still happens with latest Hardy alpha 6 release? Or Gutsy? Thanks for your bug report.
