When an audio cd is inserted, the popup in KDE asks what you want to do (play the cd, copy with k3b, etc) and if you choose to copy with k3b, K3b will complain that kio_audiocd is running and wants to know if you want to remove it. \ Also, if you try to eject the cd, I get errors that it doesn't exist or isn't mounted, even though the icon appears in the desktop. --===============7930157270641573890== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Cictani (bla-bla-deactivatedaccount) Date: Sun, 08 Apr 2007 17:25:10 -0000 Message-Id: <20070408172510.11449.69337.malone@gandwana.ubuntu.com> I have the same problem here with Feisty (32 bit) --===============7930157270641573890== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: flugscheibenwerfer (flabbergasted) Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2007 07:34:00 -0000 Message-Id: <20070428073400.15876.44627.malone@gangotri.ubuntu.com> Same here. All the odd behaviour is of course expectable once k3b kills the ioslave, but it shouldn't be necessary in the first place. Also, there is no graceful 'restore' of the ioslave as far as I know --===============7930157270641573890== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Barry Klein (blklein) Date: Sat, 08 Dec 2007 09:51:09 -0000 Message-Id: <20071208095109.17386.90073.malone@gandwana.ubuntu.com> Is #116021 "unable to eject audiocd from device applet" related? I get the error message: Device "devicename" is already in use by other applications (kio_audiocd, kio_audiocd). It is highly recommended that you quit those before continuing. Otherwise kb3 might not be able to fully access the device. I can choose to continue and everything seems to function as expected/normal. However this is irritating when you are backing up 100's of CDs. --===============7930157270641573890== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: =?utf-8?q?Christian_Gonz=C3=A1lez_=28droetker=29?= Date: Sat, 26 Jul 2008 18:27:38 -0000 Message-Id: <20080726182738.22088.98769.malone@potassium.ubuntu.com> Still present in hardy. --===============7930157270641573890== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Author: Harald Sitter (apachelogger) Date: Mon, 27 Apr 2009 17:46:46 -0000 Message-Id: <20090427174647.2790.34806.malone@gangotri.canonical.com> Seems to be fixed in KDE 4 (Kubuntu 8.10+). --===============7930157270641573890==--
