Bug Description

[Impact]

roundcube-plugins-extra will not install with roundcube-core, all from Ubuntu default repositories.

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 roundcube-core : Conflicts: roundcube-plugins-extra (<= 0.6-20111030) but 0.6-20111030 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

[Test Case]

Attempt to install roundcube-core and roundcube-plugings-extra from precise repositories.

[Other Info]

Version 0.7-3 of roundcube-core introduced the addition of a jqueryui, which had previously been shipped in roundcube-plugins-extra. This also made it to where roundcube-core conflicts with any version of roundcube-plugins-extra prior to version 0.7-20120110. During the precise cycle, roundcube-core 0.7-3 was added to the repositories, however roundcube-plugins-extra was not updated, causing the two packages to conflict.

This patch makes it to where jqueryui is not installed via roundcube-plugins-extra, making it to where the two packages can again exist together.

The package roundcube-plugins-extra seems to both depends on an conflicts with the package roundcube-core, at least for the versions of them included in precise's distribution. I mean, roundcube-plugins-extra requires roundcube-core >= 0.5.1 (the repo contains 0.7.1), but roundcube-core conflicts with roundcube-plugins-extra <= 0.6 (exactly the version in the repo.
I bypassed apt and used dpkg to force installation. I downloaded the package manually and then used:
sudo dpkg -i --force-all roundcube-plugins-extra_0.6-20111030_all.deb

This seems to be working at the moment, but apt tries (and does) remove the package every time I run it.
Just to clarify: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FIX. It may work, but it's far from elegant. We either need an updated version of the roundcube-plugins-extra package or fixing the dependencies of the roundcube-core package. For the moment I think the safest is to assume both packages at their current versions really conflict and either not install roundcue-plugins-extra or download and use the tarball provided at the roundcube website.

roundcube (0.7-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Ship jqueryui plugin. Closes: #653274.
+ Depend on libjs-jquery-ui package (instead of builtin copy).
+ Conflict with versions of roundcube-plugins-extra providing this
        plugin.

The version of roundcube-plugins-extra in precise does not have jqueryui removed.
