Same here with 3.5.0-5 on precise. (I think I got it through the xorg-edgers PPA or something.)
3.5.0-4 worked fine, 3.5.0-5 hangs on resume, with bluetooth LED on, wifi LED off, black screen on Lenovo T410.

I have unpredictable resumes on 3.5.0-5 as well. It seems to come back most times after a really long time (some times as long as 15 min), other times I have given up waiting so I don't know if it would come back. This is on an asus ux32vd.

I verified 3.5.0-6.6~lp1027828v201207231126_amd64.deb on an MBP 8.2 and it fixes the problem, altough on 7th try the screen was blank instead of white but the machine was responding. So this issue is not related and it is definitely an improvement.

For me a 3.5 based kernel sorted me out, the 3.5.0-6.6 kernel as tested. I am happy to call my issue fixed, we clearly have others still.

I can confirm this fixes the issue. When can this be found in Precise? (or precise-proposed) or is just installing the deb possible?
