Bug Description

SRU Justification:

    Impact: usb keyboards are not working in d-i.
    Fix: add hid-generic to input-modules.udeb.
    Testcase: try to install the system.

On my panda board, I am able to get output on HDMI (I don't seem to be affected by bug #1045788) but I still have to install with serial because both usb keyboards I try to hook up don't seem to work. After installation though, they seem to work just fine. Not sure what else I can provide here since I'm fairly locked out at that point, but I've heard others complain of this recently as well.

@Paul,

Do you happen to know if this bug existed on prior Quantal builds or earlier Ubuntu releases?
