gdb in kdevelop crashes randomly (.gdbinit?)

Binary package hint: gdb

I installed new kdevelop 3.5.0 which is supposed to use gdb's new "machine" interface.
So I opened one of my old projects and started debugging a bit. Several times I got gdb crash but not regularly.
I noticed that I have .gdbinit in the project folder that may conflict with kdevelop settings for gdb so I removed it and restarted kdevelop.
It seems to help but funny is that I can't get it crash again even with .gdbinit present.
