Bug Description

I started GDM with 1024x786 LCD panel, and later connected to 1280x1024 external monitor.
Increasing resolution with xrandr is allowed, and shows interesting results:
1. Resolution of image on the monitor increases.
2. Resolution of desktop stays the same (e.g. smaller than monitor).
3. Desktop image is displayed in "tiles" on the monitor (some parts are duplicated, some parts seem to overlay).

My equipment is Intel 915 graphics card.
The xrandr resizing didn't work in Edgy.

Could you please recheck it with Gutsy Final Live CD? In Gutsy -i810 driver is deprecated and -intel driver is used instead. Dual head should work out of the box.
