Binary package hint: synaptic

If the gnome theme is changed during download of updates with update-manager, synaptic apparently crashes, with the result that the "downloading updates" box closes and you get the list of available updates again.

After the second time that this happened, the download now never starts when I try to install updates with update-manager.
