gnome panel minimal at the middle of the screen at boot

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

i choose to unselect gnome panel extend in the mais propriety and place it at the bottom of my desktop but when i reboot my computer or X the gnome panel bar is on the middle of my desktop, i have to select extend and deselct it to have the panel at the botom this is on ubuntu feisty, but i has the same problem on edgy ( don't use beryl or desktop effects)
