Bug Description
I used the alternate install CD for PPC + Playstation3 of the final 7.04 release. Whenever something animated is shown on the screen (videos with totem, TheGoom visualizations in Totem or Rhythmbox etc), the performance is very low - I would estimate something around 5-10 frames per second.
I had no such problem when using YDL 5, so I guess that the video hardware is capable of higher frame rates. I assume that the problem is caused either by the video driver or the overall X configuration, but I lack the skills to determine the exact location of the problem.
The problem doesn't seem to be related to the screen resolution - I had the exact same performance when using 1080p and 720p resolutions.

Same problem here with Feisty @ 720p. Seems pretty odd as the PS3 doesn't seem to be unresponsive in other areas of the screen (as if it is struggling), just a slow fps for video and TheGoom visualisation.
