Daniel,

Here is a preliminary result.
Please let me know what you think. Any suggestion or criticism is more than welcome!

In the attached zipped tarball you will find:

telepathy-sofiasip_0.3.15.orig.tar.gz
telepathy-sofiasip_0.3.15-0ubuntu1_source.changes
telepathy-sofiasip_0.3.15-0ubuntu1_source.build
telepathy-sofiasip_0.3.15-0ubuntu1.dsc
telepathy-sofiasip_0.3.15-0ubuntu1.diff.gz

I can build and install the package on my AMD64 without any problem.
The only issue I have right now is that, somehow, I think it compiles with DEBUG support?

I'd prefer CDBS packaging as all the other telepathy packages use it, but here find a patch attached for things, I'd change first.

Thanks for you speedy feedback. It is really appreciated. Here is the modified tarball, including CDBS.

You missed the Build-Depends on cdbs - apart from that it looks good to go, once we have telepathy-glib in. Waiting on Debian for that.

Thanks a lot for your work Cesare - you ROCK!

I removed the autotools-dev Build-Dep and added a telepathy-stream-engine Depends. Uploaded.
This will sit NEW for a while I guess.

Thanks.
I'm waiting for mission-control to appear in Gutsy to pbuild Empathy. What other telepathy packages should I specify as reccomended/required there?

Empathy is already in Debian. telepathy-gabble | telepathy-connection-manager is probably a good idea.
