Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

If I (re)connect to a network, my resolv.conf is correctly set via DHCP:

anders@applecar:~/work/Projekte/dynwall$ cat /etc/resolv.conf
domain passau.firmname.local
search passau.firmname.local firmname.local
nameserver 10.10.23.200

BUT, when the connection is finally completly up, the "Network Manager" has overwritten
the resolv.conf entry:

# generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!
search passau.firmname.local
nameserver 10.10.23.200

Why does the Network Manager change the correctly set entries again?

This worked under Edgy...

FYI:
I patched the "dhclient-script" to correctly set the search and domain parameters.

No change, but I think my real problem seems to be that bug described in #98618.
