gnome-volume-control doesn't work whit this card

This card is 4in/4out, but in audacity and all other programs I can see only 2/2. It's alsa problem sure. But if I could see these 2 inputs and outputs in gnome-mixer, it would be great..

The main problem is that gnome-volume-control windows is empty, and I can set the master volume only in alsamixer.

Those two sliders in the alsamixer-capture window are for direct monitoring. Playback, capture, and direct monitoring works ok, alsamixer shows sliders only for direct monitoring and master volume.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I suppose it's not fixed, i did a report to the alsa bug list too, one year ago and no reply from there. Maybe you can close this bug. I sold my Maya usb because it didn't work so I can't test it anymore.

I happen to have the same card, Maya44 USB, so I'll have a look myself later, and re-open the bug if I can reproduce it.
