KWordQuiz locks up when using hint

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kwordquiz

Actually there are two bugs in this program. First the critical one:

When using kwordquiz in the Question and Answer mode and you click the Hint it does as it should and reveals one character of the answer. However once you press the Enter key kwordquiz locks up, takes 100% cpu, I think consumes all ram, and the close button on it's window will not shut it down. To shut it down I have to use System Guard and kill it from there.

The second minor bug is that when starting a quiz in random mode it will always start with the last item on the list unless you've already done one quiz already. Also if you should save the work sheet and start a quiz (even if you've already done one quiz already) it will do the same thing and start a random quiz with the last item.

PS. I use Kubuntu

The bug was fixed (I think some time ago) in the 3.5 branch of kubuntu. The Gentoo version never exhibited the bug so I figure it was just the specific package I was having a problem with. I assume all is well in the KDE 4 series but I'm not using that branch yet so I don't know.
