Totem can't read files : vts_nn_n.vob

Seeing as its a DVD, you could need libdvdcss. You can get the:
deb from http://mirror2.ubuntulinux.nl/pool/feisty-seveas/extras/libdvdcss2_1.2.9-0.0ubuntu6_i386.deb
or deb-src from http://mirror2.ubuntulinux.nl/pool/feisty-seveas/extras/libdvdcss_1.2.9-0.0ubuntu6.dsc

I have install your package. Totem read the first part of the DVD,"copyright", but after this he don't work:
Totem ne peut pas lire ce type de média (DVD) car vous n'avez pas le ou les greffons appropriés.

Do this command in the temrinal: sudo aptitude -y install gstreamer0.8-dvd
and try it again.

Btw, for anyone else reading this who doesn't know french, the error message translates as:
Totem could not read the media type (DVD) becuase you do not have the approprite plugns.
Now I see why I learnt french :)

Thank you for your bug. What do you try to do and what happens exactly? Is that a protected disk?

note that gstreamer0.10-dvd is not used, Ubuntu is using gstreamer0.10 since dapper
