Binary package hint: totem

using totem with win32 codecs from mediubuntu but it says "An error occurred: The playback of this movie requires a VCD protocol source plugin which is not installed." am a linux starter and help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the error i get whenever i try to play a vcd
