Bug Description

I installed kubutnu 7.04, it loaded fine. I installed therequired updates, and customised the desktop. At that time the screen resolution was fine. That was a couple of days ago, I have started up several times. Today when I started up the screen resolution was very low (680 x ???) I have tried to recofigure xserver-xorg, after which the resolution increased to 1200 x ???, which is not as good as when I first installed the system. I have an ATI Radeon 9200 series vidio card and a 19 inch Medion monitor. Any futher sudgestion as how to rectify the problem. This is my first exprience with a linux system, I loved it when running kubuntu 6.10 (dapper).

Direct mail from initial reporter:

Sorry unable to give you that info as I got so frustrated with it, I deleted
the partition and installed Kubuntu 7.04 from a new disk from Canonical.
