Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I noticed that the package version your bugging is updated in Maverick. As well, The version of Ubuntu your using is in End of Life status. In Lucid Lynx, opened ddd, primary clicked and held, hovered over Display button, hovered over Other then let go, In new Display window clicked the Display button. Did not crash.
