Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I am using gnome-terminal 2.18.0 on ubuntu Feisty 7.04 and have a strange issue while running compiz with metacity.

If I maximize the application to full screen I can then no longer minimize it. The titlebar color turns to inactive, too.

I have noticed this issue on several different machines and with different graphic cards (nvidia and intel)

To be more specific. 'I can then no longer minimize it' means I cannot switch back to individual window size (middle window control button on default install).

On this machine I got an: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device

I am experiencing the same problem. When you maximize a gnome-terminal, you are not able to resize it, minimize it or close it by the buttons in the top right corner when using Compiz.
When you try to either press one of the window buttons of the top right corner or double click on the title bar, then the window title bar look like it lost focus.
When you then again click either one of the buttons or on the title bar, then it will ignore the terminal window and perform the action on the window behind it (which is really annoying, many times I have closed applications when I wanted to close the terminal).
