Bug Description
Both my laptop and desktop, which are running Kubuntu/Feisty, regularly (but not consistently) freeze when shutting down. X exits, and the last messages on the screen are to do with NetworkManager. I will append more information to this bug as it happens.
I don't see anything obvious in either /var/log/syslog or /var/log/messages, but when it next happens I'll append the relevant information.

BTW, this is pretty serious, as it has led to file system corruption on both machines, since I'd had to shut down via the power button. It led to my laptop being completely unbootable (to the extent that I had to reinstall) and my desktop dropped a partition from ext3 to ext2, as the journal was corrupted, and some files were lost.
