Bug Description

Binary package hint: edubuntu-desktop

I have a TSSTCORP DVD-ROM drive (Samsung I believe). When I insert a disc, after trying to read the media the sys locks and requires a reboot. This happens every time. My CD burner works fine. Could be a driver problem. I am running Ubuntu 7.04 and have installed all updates as they are available. Thank you for your help. Is there anything I can do to help? I am not a programmer or anything, just a user. Thank you
