Bug Description

With the attached example file, running it as `python3 example.py` I get a bunch of progress signals, but then it times out before getting the finished signal. After that, ubuntu-download-manager stops responding completely, e.g. try to run the script a second time and you will not get any signals. In none of these cases do you end up with the files actually downloaded.

Killing the ubuntu-download-manager process and letting dbus activation restart it gets the same behavior (it works for a while then stops).

Ah. Note that if you comment out the md5 checksums in DOWNLOADS, then you do get the finished signal and the files do end up being downloaded.

Except that the checksum of the .tgz file is broken, see LP: #1224678. I wonder if this could be the problem. (E.g. checksums don't match, u-d-m gets into a "bad state").
