Using mc and pressing TAB the terminal slowly runs out

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

This bug depends on the properties of the remote server where one logs in via ssh.

ssh somewhere, start mc (Midnight Commander), press the TAB key many times. Each second time the gnome-terminal will be smaller by 1 row. So after some time the terminal runs out...
