Scilab icon missing in menus

There is no icon for Scilab in xfce menu or in Unity launcher from (X)Ubuntu 13.10 and trusty. It seems that Scilab don't install an high quality icon in the system, only an poor 32 pixel icon in /usr/share/scilab/modules/gui/images/icons/32x32/apps (isn't a wrong place to have an icon?). There is problem both to i386 and x86_64 ubuntu version.

It's easy to workaround this, there is an svg icon here: http://svgicons.o7a.net/official/scilab.svg , you could put it in /usr/share/pixmaps or in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps. It's a good idea to put png icons in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/* too, the scilab binary and source has 16, 24, 32, 48 and 256 pixels icon in:

scilab-binary-download-folder/share/icons/hicolor/

scilab-source-folder/desktop/images/icons/

Other problem, there is a poor icon in Alt+Tab too.

How to reproduce the bug:

Install Scilab in Ubuntu 13.10 or trusty:

sudo apt-get install scilab

and take a look in the program icon from xfce menu or Unity. Take a look in the Alt+Tab icon too.

I already report this problem in http://bugzilla.scilab.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13126 , but it seems that is a packaging problem.
