Bug Description

Network Manager Applet says "No network connection" and "No network devices have been found".

# cat /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# ifconfig -a
eth0 ...
lo ...

eth0 is an IC PLUS IP1000 device (ipg driver) and works fine.
