Bug Description

New install of Mythbuntu. After installation, system said there were updates available, I approved the updates. It proceeded to download and install the updates. It went to "applying changes", both the updates dialog box and the "applying changes" dialog box went blank and it never came back. System was still responsive to other actions but nothing else. I let it sit like that for about 40 minutes and nothing changed. I reboot the system. And that was that.
