[gusty] xen python modules not found

Bug Description

Binary package hint: python-xen-3.1

when starting xend
I get the error:

Cannot find Xen Python modules.

I have been trying to copy the modules manually from the xen 3.1 tar file, but no luck so far.

I think I may have a problem with python path, but I will need to look into it more.

Any suggestions or things to try as work arounds until a fix is released?

Make this change in debian/rules:
replace:
install-tools: DH_OPTIONS = -pxen-utils-$(MAJOR) -pxen-ioemu-$(MAJOR) -ppython-xen${MAJOR}
with:
install-tools: DH_OPTIONS = -pxen-utils-$(MAJOR) -pxen-ioemu-$(MAJOR) -ppython-xen-${MAJOR}

Changed in xen-3.1:
status: New → Confirmed
