Installation Problem

Bug Description

There are some messages about the problem
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
I have tried some times but it didn't work.So I reported that in order to solve it.
SInce finished installation of the ubuntu-restricted-extras,a series of problem have been
coming up .First I can't get update for ubuntu,and also the other installation can't be finished and
  I failed to to install them.

Thanks for your bug report.

Please open the Synaptic Package Manager in the System - Administration menu, then chose "broken" instead of "all" in the left list window. This should show you the broken package which failed in the install process. Try to reinstall it, then report what happened here with the name and version of the package.

First I'd like to thank you for your solution of the bug.
I think I have already solved it with  you suggestions.Maybe
the Package itself  is the key to repairing it. I realized there must be some
problems in the first package,the bug was not dealt with until I reinstalled
new Package. From this we can see ,some packages are not so perfect and still have some problems.In conclusion,I wish all of us should try to make
Packages with few bugs to  decrease the risk of  causing more prblems.
Now ,I can update and install new soft I need. Whatever,I will never
solve it without your kindness  and careness.Thanks for Everyone who make the Ubuntu
better used and people better use.
