Bug Description

I use the last update of Gusty on a MSI pr200 notebook. The problem is that gnome power management applet switch itself between AC and DC mode.Furthermore it display incorrect information.Remaining battery time isn't correct ( 1 time over 2 the indicator display 0% of battery remaining whereas the computer is plugged).
The problem comes when the computer is plugged and also when is unplugged.

I don't find a particular think wich produce this problem.
If you need further infos, please dont hesitate.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Just so you have a heads up, it doesn't work still and there are issues logging into the program.
I will get all the errors to you in the next couple of days. AJ Not a shred of evidence exist in favor of the idea that life is serious.Brendan Gill P.S. IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS PLEASE, FEEL FREE... TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM !!!

Here is the information I was able to get from my laptop.
First off when you log in there is an error that reads " Sorry, the program Jockey-GTK closed unexpectedly."
It goes on to ask if I want to send the error. When I attempted to do that I could not get access to the nic card to make sure it had the proper IP address. So, I was unable to send that error.
When I shut the lid after setting the power saving parameters and reopen it, there are nothing but multi colored lines and no desktop and no way to access it unless you restart the machine.

If there is anything else you need please let me know and I will provide it asap. AJ Not a shred of evidence exist in favor of the idea that life is serious.Brendan Gill P.S. IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS PLEASE, FEEL FREE... TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM !!!
