/projects search produces URLs with "+index" in them

Bug Description
1. Go to <http://
2. In the search field, enter "wordpress", and click "Search".
3. On the search results page, click "Search again".

I think no Launchpad URL should ever contain "+index", because there is always a shorter URL for the same page.
