mgp new upstream version available

When I try to compile this version in Gutsy I get this error:

making ./image/libmgpimage.a in ./image...

Any idea about how to compile this?

Working on this (porting from SID).

This version builds fine for me.
All files (*.orig.tar.gz, *.dsc etc.) at http://www.rootshell.be/~nicolai/ubuntu/mgp

1.11b-7ubuntu1 is already in Intrepid, and the update request is for 1.12a.

Can't make it to work in Jaunty alpha1. I get this, and just a black screen, cpu around 60%:

Please get this into Jaunty. 1.13a, built from source, works great. The version in Intrepid just hangs with a black screen as described above.
