Occasional skips; rythymbox doesn't

Bug Description

currently on gutsy, but I also had this on Feisty.

Amarok occasionally skips - just a fraction of a second skip but annoyingly noticeable; Rhythymbox on the same machine
only does this if the machine is very heavily loaded; Amarok seems to do it even during some gentle web browsing.

This is on a Core2 Duo 1.66GHz and amarokapp is using <2% CPU, 6% RAM (a bit more CPU at the start of the track).

I have no crossfading, (0ms gap),fading set to 3.5s and the xine engine.

It is playing from hard disc my collection of Oggs on random play for the whole collection.

I'm running in a GNOME session with a mix of Gnome and KDE apps; no aded visualisations other than the graphic equaliser thing at the bottom (at 30fps).

I'm having the same issue with the final release. Amarok skips about once every hour of playback.
For me though, this was _not_ a problem in Feisty.

It doesn't happen with totem, so I would assume it's a Xine bug.

Well, I've been listening to Amarok2 all day on Jaunty and I haven't heard a skip - and as far as I can tell it still uses xine.

I'd say this is fixed.libxine1-bin 1.1.16.2-1ubuntu3
