Bug Description

Binary package hint: metacity

I have the problem with kprof, when it freeze, if I close it with control-c in the console, everything continue work, but if I click on the close button, my system become frozen.

furthermore no dialog indicate me that the processus need to be killed

I am under gutsy.

metacity version: 2.19.55-0ubuntu1

What happens if you close another terminal with lets say top on it? Does that works? It doesnt seems to me a metacity problem.

yes it will works! It only lock the system with application that doesnt
respond.

now it works, the close windows (when the application respond) now work as
it should
