Bug Description

 plug in a 3-ring headset
check if 3-ring headset is detected

Expected results:
headset's input/output should both be detected in sound settings

Actual results:
only headset's output is detected, input (mic) is not detected.

This bug is used for tracking purposes. Please do not triage.
