Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.10 (r20, 24.03.15) on BQ Aquaris 4.5 UE

Not sure what exactly triggers it, but symptoms are:
* When trying to disable BT from notification area -> indicator switches to on again.
* In the settings -> BT only on/off control is active and no other info

The following sequence seems to trigger this:
* Pair to device (in my case it is on-board hands-free unit of a car)
* Switch to BT settings

At the time of switch, there is an info about paired/connected BT-unit and an indication of "discovery" activity, I guess.
In a while connection between phone and hands-free unit breaks. And systems stays with non-functional BT, symptoms described above.

It seems that crash-info was uploaded, already (in phone's /var/crash there are _usr_sbin_bluetoothd.0.crash + upload + uploaded files).

Addition:
After this cannot reboot device normally via system->reboot. Only power-cycling helps.

Paired device identifies itself as SKODA_BT.

Connecting to:
Car Headset (Skoda 2013 model - works perfectly with Nexus 5 on Android 4.4+ up to 5.1)
Cheap BT Headphones (PSYC - works perfectly with Nexus 5 on Android 4.4+ up to 5.1)

These are the similar issues that I have found:
1. Bluetooth will initially connect to a device.

2. If connection either fails or I disconnect from the device I cannot reconnect to the device. A phone reboot is required to reconnect but the phone usually requires a hard reset to reboot (no power menu, I have to hold power button for 20 seconds)

3. Bluetooth often crashes/disconnects during a phone call but always crashes after a phone call.

Update since r21 was released last week:
1. Bluetooth connections have been absolutely stable once connected - no dropped calls or drops in bluetooth connectivity. No more reboots required. = SOLVED
2. Bluetooth connections remains connected on completion of phone calls. = SOLVED
3. Sometimes the bluetooth activations switch needs to be toggled to enable media sounds to come through bluetooth device and not from the phone speaker. = Minor ISSUE

Since update to r21 few weeks back: Bluetooth crash issue is gone. Device
connects OK. Can start/finish calls. Nice!

Have not checked other functionality though (like address book sync).

Extended functionality like:
* indication of mobile signal strengths on the car dashboard/phone screen
* synchronization of call info, which is handy to have
seems to be unavailable though. Used to it after having Android-based phone
for a long time. Looks like it may come with future updates ;)

Keep up good job! Thanks!
