Bug Description

Taken from bug #1461221#:

I met another decoration problem, when I enable "show window decoration" and set transparency to 80 while inactive, then when I move mouse pointer on window decoration which has minimize, maximize and exit buttons, it loses focus and sets transparency, I can not see onboard while moving it in the screen. It's like window geometry is not covering onboard's window decoration.

I've pushed a simple fix to trunk. Let me know how you like it.
Auto-show gets frozen during movement too now, so there's less funky window jumping while moving with the title bar.

Hi Francesco, ready to create a snapshot?

@ marmuta thanks. It's a quick fix. I wanted to test it and tried "bzr branch lp:onboard/trunk" and "bzr branch lp:onboard" unfortunately none of them worked.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is not clear what did not work in message #2: installing it from source or the fix?

I just uploaded a snapshots of revision 1955 of trunk to our Snapshots PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~onboard/+archive/ubuntu/snapshots

It might be easier to test the fix by installing the current version in our Snapshots PPA.

Cheers

I meant fix didn't work. I could compile it with "debuild -i -us -uc -b" and install the packages. The fix doesn't work.
I hope there is not misunderstanding about bug report. I use emerald window decorator. When I move mouse over decoration, it sets transparency which is not good. I also added above ppa and upgraded onboard packages but the result is the same, it's not fixed.

The fix does nothing when hovering over the title bar, but you should see a change when actually moving the window. Is that the case? I wanted you to check it out to see if that largely solves the problem already. A better fix will be a lot more intrusive.
