Hyperspace screensaver shows on bottom quarter of screen with compiz

Binary package hint: compiz

When I run the Hyperspace screensaver while I have compiz running, the screensaver only shows on the bottom quarter of the screen. This is the only screensaver I know that does this.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

The computer I tested this on now is used by someone else and I cannot install hardy on it. I know that this problem is specific to nvidia cards and that it still exists in gutsy.

could you please try with the live environment of the desktop cd of Hardy Heron then, this is almost as updated as the current install.

I cannot test with the livecd because I know of no way to use the binary nvidia drivers in it. I will upgrade that machine to Hardy when RC comes out. I will test it then.

I upgraded the computer and problem solved. Marking as fix released. I think that is right.
