Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
With or without manual configuration. I cannot get logged onto my router as long as ssid is hidden.
Network Manager is also unstable if you are making changes such as plugging or unplugging the ethernet cable. I have had several Network Manager crashes. While I was working on getting connected with my wireless network.

please attach your /var/log/syslog that contains connect attempts against a hidden ap.
BTW, the crashes should be gone in 0.6.5-0ubuntu15 (uploaded a few hours ago)
